Increase Dissolved Oxygen

Note: The Enviro Series 700 machine is now used in wastewater systems to ensure the system is maintained in an aerobic or facultative state.

  1. In municipal effluent, DO values rose from a low of 2.3 ppm @ 3 feet to 8.9 ppm in only 2 months. Nebraska, USA - Enviro Series 600
     
  2. DO values in a couple large recreational lakes in Quebec also showed significant increases. One lake showed an increase of 3 ppm in the hypolimnion after only 4 days and another lake showed an increase from 2.6 ppm to 7.7 ppm at 4.3 m in only 2 months (early June to early August) - Enviro Series 600. The increase in dissolved oxygen increased the depth of the epilimnion and the region in which fish and other aerobic aquatic life successfully bred and live. The increase in oxygen also enabled indigenous organisms to compete more efficiently thereby increasing the natural diversity of the lake. - Enviro Series 600

  1. In only two months, circulation of the lake altered the lake's supersaturation oxygen values at the surface and facultative to anaerobic conditions near the bottom to create an even temperature and oxygen profile.  This change enabled indigenous organisms to compete more efficiently resulting in an increase in the lake's natural diversity.
